To thank the Sustainability Champions and Division Volunteers for their commitment to sustainable communities, SCD is providing two $500 scholarships to go toward attending the 2016 National Conference in Phoenix. Depending on funding, SCD may be able to provide more scholarships.
If you are interested in applying, we ask that you take a moment to share a few things. No more than a paragraph or two total is necessary.
- Briefly describe your contributions to the Division in the past year.
- Why do you want to attend the conference? What do you hope to get out of it?
- If you receive a scholarship, will you, your employer, or other funders be able to provide the matching funds necessary to attend? Please estimate the total amount that it would cost for you to attend the conference, including registration, lodging, and travel. Please note that early-bird registration ends on February 4th, after which rates will increase.
Please make sure to include your name, email, and phone number. The two scholarship recipients will be asked to write a blog post or newsletter article about their experience at the conference.
Those who have previously received a scholarship are not eligible in the two subsequent years.
