Sustainable Communities Division Events at the Annual APA Conference
Join us for a drink, stay for the strategic planning! We’re active at this year’s national conference (Chicago, April 13-17) at four different events:
- Sunday 11:00am – 1:00pm, SCD Meet at Greet the Expo Hall. Stop by and say hi during the Sustainable Communities Division shift at the APA Divisions Council booth!
- Sunday 3:00 PM, SCD Facilitated Discussion: “Mobilizing Sustainability Planning.” Hear how some APA State Chapters are cataloging sustainability resources, and how the Sustainable Communities Division might help coordinate nationally.
- Sunday 4:30 PM, Plaza B, SCD Business Meeting and Reception. Everyone’s invited to our annual projects organizing meeting — over drinks and food!
- Monday 1:00 PM, SCD Session: “Best Practices in Sustainable Community Planning.” How can planners and regulators lead the way in crafting more sustainable communities?
